IWM NORTH CODEBREAKER
CLIENT: IWM NORTH
SCOPE; DESIGN AND BUILD A INTERACTIVE REPLICA ENIGMA MACHINE
Having previously worked with IWM London to produce an Enigma Machine based interactive for the Second World War Gallery in London, we were delighted to receive another commission for a further box for IWM North.
This popular game is based upon code cracking skills and explains a complex mathematical coding process through a fun and engaging hands on exhibit. The code breaker game is aimed at a family audience and needs to be accessible to all visitors whilst retaining the correct aesthetic of the original boxes.
The code breaker needs to be high quality, robust, durable, easily cleanable and safe for all visitor use. The museum receives a high volume of visitors so the tactile exhibits need to be able withstand high level of usage, with low maintenance solutions.
